An official notice of acceptance or denial will be sent to applicants. Applicants should not make definite plans to arrive in the U.S. until he/she has been notified of acceptance to the college. Being in the U.S. will not affect the admission decision. Completing the application process does not guarantee acceptance to OWC.

A notice of acceptance will contain the Form I-20 which the applicant must take to the nearest U.S. Consul to request a F1 or M1 student visa. Final approval for a student visa is made by a U.S. consular official and not the college. If the student cannot enroll for the semester written in the notice of acceptance and wishes to enroll in a different semester, International Student Admissions must be informed immediately.
