Key Financial Aid Dates
Financial Aid
Applications for federal financial aid and the Florida Student Assistance Grant should be made well in advance of registration. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) should be processed by the following deadlines.
The PRIORITY CONSIDERATION DEADLINES at OWC for 2008-2009 are:

STUDENTS NOT MEETING THE PRIORITY DEADLINE MAY STILL QUALIFY FOR FINANCIAL AID BUT MAY EXPERIENCE DELAYS IN RECEIVING FINANCIAL AID.
The absolute deadline for determining enrollment status (i.e. part-time, three-quarter time, or full-time) is the last day to register for Session 1 courses during each term. (These dates are listed in the Schedule of Classes each term and the calendar section of the OWC College Catalog.) All applications for the Florida Student Assistance Grant dated May 15, 2008 or earlier will be given first priority in determining eligibility. All applications for the Federal Work-Study Program and the Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant dated May 15, 2008 or earlier will be given first priority in determining eligibility.

FFEL/STAFFORD LOAN
- Last Day to apply for Fall Term loans is November 17, 2008
| The following Disbursement Dates are for loan applications certified by OWC's Fianancial Aid Office prior to May 21, 2008: |

SCHOLARSHIP CHECKS
- Scholarships checks will be mailed September 22, 2008 for students enrolled in Session 1 or 2 classes.
- PELL checks will be mailed September 22, 2008 for students enrolled in Session 1 or 2 classes.
OWC GENERAL STUDENT BOOK LOAN REPAYMENT DATE
- October 21, 2008 (Students must repay the entire loan amount by this date)
- Students enrolled in ANY session 2 classes : October 3, 2008
- Students enrolled in only session 1 & session 3 classes: October 20, 2008
